I agree the bear is very expressive. The range of colors you were able to use is amazing. I also love your style. (That bear really needs to find a hairbrush, though. No, hairbrush, not harebrush.) ;)
I like the style of your work. Something about rich texture really draws me in. I am from the east, but have spent some time camping near the areas where your work is on dislay. Jenny Lake, the Gallatin in MT, Bitterroot Valley..... beautiful places all. PA is not bad. I have a fox living out back, pictures of a lone black coyote at my backdoor, a few regular deer, and this year a single family of wild turkeys. Best wishes, and hope you enjoy your art for many years to come.
I bought a painting today that I believe is yours but cannot find it on your website. She is a beautiful cow facing directly out of the picture. White face - looks to be hereford. Anyway, that is why I bought it. My husband grew up raising champion herefords and he misses them. She had the most expressive eyes and seemed to be begging me to take her home. He will be getting her for father's day.
I wish it were an email to me, but I have never painted a Hereford. Have done Scotch Highlands, which my daughter was raising until recently. She is down to one cow who just calved and it may go, too. She is a horseman and has a good business going with tham. She trains, teaches horsemanship, does barefoot trimming and does clinics. I have to wonder where you saw my website, (blogspot) I never got to put in any animals.
I found and purchased one of your Bear paintings. I plan to take to our home in Estes Park, CO this spring. I like your style and plan to look for more.
